Precision engineered from high grade steel and featuring our Afterburn™ system, the 100 offers the presence and clear fire view of the 200 but with a lower output of 5kW thanks to its slim profile. This makes it the perfect choice where hearth depths are limited or in rooms where there is hearth space for a large stove but where higher heat outputs would overwhelm the room. And like the 200 this multi-fuel stove loves to burn logs.
Features and specification
This stunning 8kW stove was the first to feature Afterburn™, our precision secondary air control system. The result is outstanding control, dancing flames, a crystal clear view of the fire and highly efficient combustion of the fuel. The 200 will happily burn most solid fuels but it will reward you with wonderful flame patterns when burning properly seasoned wood.
Features and specification
This 5kW stove offers form and function in perfect harmony. Its balanced proportions, elegant curves and cast iron detailing have been created from a furniture design perspective by leading designer Paul Galley, whilst its fuel burning capability has evolved, like all ESSE stoves over a century and a half. The 500 is simple to operate and this multi-fuel version will happily burn wood and any type of solid fuel.
Features and specification
Inset convection fires that offer a unique combination of performance, style, efficiency and ease of installation.
The new award winning 350 builds on the unique strengths of the 300 to provide a higher level of performance and efficiency.
The 300 and the New 350 are not ordinary stoves, they are true convector appliances.
Convector stoves were pioneered by ESSE way back in the 1920´s and they have big advantages. The outer surface of the stove, while still very hot, is much less likely to burn than an ordinary stove, and stays clean and bright. Non convection stoves heat by radiation which only travels in straight lines, but 350 & 300 emit a continuous gentle stream of hot air which can evenly heat every nook and cranny of the room.

Esse 350 Features
A 4kW contemporary stove available as a free standing model - the 505F - or its compact companion - the 505C - which is ideally suited to a standard fireplace or builders opening. The 505 is evolved from our highly successful and proven 500 stove.
Its design is pure, simple and elegant. Providing a spectacular and uncluttered view of the flames which can be easily controlled by beautifully engineered, minimalist air controls. The firebox door glides open with an effortless action thanks to unique ‘invisible’ hinges.
The 505F freestanding model is inspired by the simplicity of Scandinavian stand alone stoves but developed specifically for the UK market. Its small footprint and moderate output make it easy to plan into a modern living space without overpowering a centrally heated room.
At its heart beats a proven firebox with two fuel options; a versatile multi-fuel model, designed specifically for burning smokeless fuels with a grate, ashpan and external riddling control or a wood burning model which achieved an exceptional 80% efficiency in recent testing in accordance with EN 13240. This dedicated wood burner has a deeper firebox with no grate enabling larger logs to be loaded and provides a flat base for an ash bed to develop which is essential when burning wood.

Multi-fuel
The 700 is the latest stove to be born at our foundry and is the flagship model in our new look range. It may be our latest stove but it firmly upholds the virtues and qualities of ESSEs dating back over a century and a half. Every line and curve has been designed to exude an air of simple elegance, that will sit comfortably with a wide range of interior styles and hearth environments. The gently arching double doors provide a spectacular and virtually unrestricted view of the flames. This view is further enhanced by our unique handle-less door opening mechanism which uses a spring loaded latch with a key release on the side of the stove.
Suitable for larger dwellings requiring higher outputs, the 700 multi-fuel features Afterburn™, our precision secondary air control system. Providing outstanding control of the burn, stunning flame patterns and an efficient combustion of the fuel.
The boiler stove version of the 700 provides a carbon neutral heating option, offering a total output of 60000btu/h (17kW), delivering 27300 btu/h (8kW) to water heating and 30700 btu/h (9kW) to direct space heating. For larger central heating requirements we recommend integrating the 700-17B with our Woodfired range cooker the W23 which offers a further 23000 btu/h of water heating capability. It will also generate between 1 & 2.5kW radiant heat to the kitchen and ofcourse provide outstanding woodfired cooking. Visit our website www.esse.com for more details about the woodfired range cooker.
Integrated woodfired systems
The 700-17B boiler stove can be ingegrated with the Woodfired ESSE range cooker which also has an integral boiler to power larger central heating systems. It can take logs up to 45cm in length, keeps refuelling to a minimum.
Features and specification
The wood burning cooking stove, or Ironheart as it has become known, was launched in 2004 to mark our 150th anniversary year and is a good demonstration of modern stove engineering. The deep firebox can take 0.5m logs and the secondary air controls provide exceptional control for cooking, whilst providing a spectacular view of the flame pattern through crystal clear glass. Originally designed to fulfill a niche market the Ironheart has become a popular product, fulfilling a dual role as a high output stove and also a multi-fuel supplementary cooking appliance that cooks as beautifully as it warms.
